From Sicilian origin, Davide Malizia was born in Rome. He school choice has been addressed by his strong passion for culinary art which brings him to attend Hotel School Artusi in Roma, obtaining graduation with honors.
During his career, he shows particular interest for artistic sugar art and pastry, so that he decides to get deeper and deeper working with top level hotel in Rome, like hotel Exsedra and Grand hotel ST Regis. His background starts at very important schools like CAST Alimenti, Etoile, Atelier Du Sucre in France and Chocovic school in Spain. In 2005 he wins the gold medal at International Competition in Massa (Italy) for artistic category. In 2006 he wins 4 gold medals at the Worldwide Championship in Luxembourg. In 2008 he wins 6 gold medals at International Cooking Competition INTERGASTRA in Stuttgart . In 2010 he is member of Italian team for World Pastry Team Championship USA - Phoenix 2010, by obtaining the silver medal.
